David Larsen was an incredible lighting designer and actor. He spent his last years working in community theater painting the stage for other actors to help them tell their heart felt stories. His friends and family have helped to create this scholarship as his legacy to encourage and help the next generation of technical theatre students

Why the David Larsen Scholarship Fund Exists
Award Amount
Founded in 2015 for a student pursuing the study in theater arts with preference given to area of technical theater. Scholarship is $500 awarded annually to the individual who by their own contribution to theatre have demonstrated ability, talent, and dedication to the theatre arts. Applications will begin again December 2023 due by April 1, 2024 11:59 PM MST.
